Consumers are users who use the services offered by Service Providers. They create their task requests with the appropriate details of the work required, budget and time needed for the task to be completed.

5.0 Searching and booking a new service offering

5.1 We rely on our users (both Service Providers and Consumers) to enrich our marketplace platform. When a Service Provider lists a new service and Consumer publishes a new Task we will screen them to ensure accuracy of the information before making it available on Home and Search pages. Service Providers can list a service and prohibited from publishing any of their personal contact information in the Service title or description. The phone number in the Service Provider profile needs to be verified by the provider before making their service available for consumers. This phone number will ONLY be shared after a booking is confirmed.

5.2 Making changes to an approved task or a service. Consumers are allowed to make any updates to their tasks or services. They can do this by going to My Tasks page and click Edit link to make changes to the Task / Service. Once an order is placed by a Consumer for a specific service, the details listed on the service at the time of booking the order is expected to be delivered to Consumers. Service Provider agrees to delivering service at the cost specified, description and start date/time as specified in the Order.

5.3 When a consumer publishes a question on the Service provider page, the service provider will get a notification by site notification and email. Upon receiving the notification the Service Provider is expected to post an answer to the consumer. They can do it by going to My Services page / Questions tab.

5.4 When a service provider makes an offer to a consumer regarding a request the consumer has created, the consumer can either accept or reject the offer. If consumers choose to accept the offer they need to complete the booking to create a new order.

5.5 In case of any dispute that may arise after the order, Micro Tasks will do its best to help mediate between the Service provider and consumer. But we cannot guarantee a positive outcome from this intermediation. We may consider refunding the commission fee based on the outcome of the investigation.

5.6 A service rendered by a Service Provider (or a Vendor) is considered completed only when a Service Provider mark the task as completed. The Service provider must perform this action by visiting the "My Orders" page. MicroTask.io platform will send a reminder to complete this action after the end date/time of the task which is specified in each Order summary.

6.0 Member identity, profile and communication

6.1 Registration and Verification
