How our platform works
Is account registration necessary?
You have free access to search for a task or a service. But in order to create a task (or a service) and order a service you need a registered account in our marketplace.
You can reset your password by clicking the Forgot Password link on the Login modal. A password reset link will be sent to your registered email. Click the link to reset your password.
Is Phone verification Required?
Yes. We require phone verification to ensure we onboard only verified users on our platform. This increases trust among participants in the marketplace.
How do I verify my phone?
Once you sign up (or login for existing users) for a new account, go to My Profile page. Once you are on the My Profile page you can click on Verify link next to Phone under Verify your profile section.
What countries do you support?
MicroTasks.io platform is now available in most countries.

How do I post a new Task?
First you must <a href="#signupModal" data-toggle="modal" data-target="#signupModal">Register</a> for an account. Once your register and verify your phone, you can Publish Task page.
How do I search for a service provider in my location?
First go to Services page. On the left panel you should see an option to enter the location where you want to search for a specific service provider.
How do I handle dispute resolution?
First step is to email the service provider directly to discuss any issues with the order you placed. The next step is to search our FAQ/Help page for possible answers. If the issue is still not resolved please get in touch with us by email support@MicroTasks.io

How do I create a new service
First you must <a href="#signupModal" data-toggle="modal" data-target="#signupModal">Register</a> for an account. Once your register and verify your phone, you can Publish your service offering.
How do I search for new task requests in my location?
First go to Tasks page. On the left panel you should see an option to enter the location. Enter the city name where you want to search for a list of tasks in your location.
Can I offer a consumer with a direct offer?
Yes, you can make an offer to a consumer whose task matches your service offering.

What type of services can I offer in your platform?
When will I get paid?
Once the service is delivered, you must confirm the status by going to My Orders screen and click Order Completed. Consumer will receive a notification. After the consumer has confirmed the work is delivered, order will be marked as completed. At this stage Microtasks will transfer the funds to your Stripe or Paypal account. In case of Direct Payments, the consumer is obligated to pay you directly either with cash or other payment mechanism that you agreed directly with the consumer.
How does Direct payment work?
In the case where the Service Provider only accepts direct payment, consumers are expected to pay the provider directly at the time of service delivery. Order confirmation page will display the amount to be paid in local currency.
What payment types do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover for processing commission payments. In the future we plan to add Paypal to our offering.
Is your site secure for transaction?
Yes our site is 100% secure. Our platform is secured with Comodo Positive SSL Wildcard Certificate with 256 bit RSA Encryption.
What is your commission model?
We charge consumers a flat 8% commission fee on the total order amount.
Do you store my credit card information on your site?
None of your personal credit card information (card number, expiration date, cvv code) is stored anywhere in our platform. We simply pass all the data to our credit card processor and store ONLY an authenticated token in our database. Your browser may store your credit card data for future use on our platform.
Is there any transaction charge for using Credit/Debit cards?
No consumers do not pay any extra fee for credit card transactions as it is already included in our commission fee.
